This course prepares you for telephone use in business.
The course focuses on listening to telephone conversations and responding to questions over the telephone.
Topics include: telephone etiquette, taking a message, telephone sales and answering enquiries.
Start Date: Any Monday
The Telephone Skills Class runs for 4 weeks.
You will study the following:
Unit One – Answering, Making and Ending Phone Calls
Unit Two – Connecting People and Taking Messages
Unit Three – Appointments, Bookings, Inquires and Orders
Unit Four – Handling Problems on the Phone
You will be introduced to the Telephone Alphabet, using a friendly voicelistening to various types of telephone situations and creating telephone conversation with your classmates.
In this class, you will talk on a specially-designed telephone system to give you and your partner the real-life experience of talking on the phone.
In addition, your teacher and classmates will be able to listen to your conversation and offer valuable suggestions for your improvement.
