The Conversation Program is designed for students who want to improve their Business English fluency and vocabulary skills.
Connect uses an exclusively designed conversation curriculum with 6 levels to progress through. Each day you will study with a new teacher to give ensure you receive a wide variety of conversation styles and opinions.
Topics include: negotiation, job interviews, ethics, etiquette, handling complaints, business idioms, socializing, meetings and more!
Start Date: Any Monday
Levels 1 and 2
Different situations in English such as:
- basic meeting skills
- giving company tours
- basic negotiation skills
- Discussing a company’s history
- socializing in English
- business etiquette
Levels 3 and 4
At this level students are expected to “think in English”, class discussions on based on various topics such as:
- training new staff
- business Idioms
- financial English
- team building
- market research
- managing people
Levels 5 and 6
We focus students on preparing them for native speaker conversation.
Topics include:
- business idioms and proverbs are discussed
- current events – cybercrime, fraud, mergers
- discussing specific companies like Levis, Disney or Boeing
- different corporate cultures
