How It Works

Connect Online Classroom is an integrated internet-based learning system. It has the advantages of video conferencing, discussion boards using office programs, and instant messaging ALL IN ONE!

IT IS EASY TO USE! You need:

  • A computer
  • A webcam
  • A quiet place to study

Classes are 50 minutes in length.

After you register for your classes, we will teach you how to book your lessons, view the training materials and use the Online Classroom.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Be sure to check that your computersystem meets the minimum specification requirements outlined below:

PC System Requirements

  • Windows XP / Vista / 7
  • Pentium 4 1.5 GHz or better (2 GHz or higher recommended)
  • 1 GB RAM (2 GB recommended)
  • Sound card and headset (for optimum quality) with working microphone
  • 56k modem or faster, and reliable Internet service (DSL / Cablemodem or faster recommended)
  • Internet Explorer 7 or higher (IE 8+ recommended) / Firefox 3.5 or higher / Google Chrome 10 or higher
  • Acrobat Reader 5.0 or higher (available free from http://www.adobe.com)
  • Macromedia Flash Player 9.0 or higher (available free from http://www.flash.com)
  • Cookies and JavaScript must be enabled
  • 1024 x 768 screen resolution or higher
  • An audio/microphone headset is strongly recommended for the best sound quality
