He has helped many Connect students transfer from language schools to colleges. He is considered an expert on the preparing students for colleges. He is an award-winning writer with awards from BpNichol for outstanding writer and the coveted President’s Prize for Fiction and Poetry writing. In addition to teaching and writing, Jamie is an accomplished musician. His band has produced several CD’s and has traveled across Canada and the United States performing in some of the top clubs in North America. Students love Jamie for his passion and his care. He loves to watch his students succeed and pushes them to be ready for college. Jamie teaches conversation classes as well as our College and University Preparation Program (CUPP)

She has a Master’s Degree from Queen’s University. She is fluent in Spanish and French. She has lived in Spain, Japan, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, China – a total of 39 countries! Dianne enjoys teaching grammar and challenging students. She is an expert at writing for Academic purposes.

He was responsible for developing curricula, evaluating teachers, provide workshops on various teacher topics as well as helping to grow the school.
He was a TOEIC trainer for many years in Asia and Canada. In his free time, Philip has his own photography business. Highly skilled and recognized in Canada for his photography, Philip has worked with various large scale international exhibitions around the globe. Philip enjoys teaching and helping students grow. He prepares them for the real-world with wonderful insight into their projects for Business. Students are well-prepared to take on the world when they leave Philip’s class.

He lived and taught in Japan for 7 years before returning to Canada. He has taught in Connect since his return. David is an expert in pronunciation. He has taught Connect’s pronunciation course – Speaking Clearly since 2007. He has helped many students overcome many common pronunciation problems. He is a very detailed teacher who likes to make sure students have a complete understanding of any point he teaches.

Before teaching at Connect, Acel directed language schools in Indonesia, teaching and working with over 1,200 students!

She is familiar with teaching many different cultures. She loves to meet people and welcome them to Toronto. She wants her students to enjoy studying English so her classes are very interesting and challenging.

She has a Bachelor’s degree from Ryerson and a Bachelor Degree in Education from Nipissing University. She also has a TESL certificate.

She is an expert in the art of communication skills at an advanced academic level.

She has travelled and lived abroad in many different places including the UK, France and Japan. She speaks French, Spanish and Japanese. She easily relates to students as they experience both the joys and the challenges of a new country. She is an accomplished writer in Toronto and works as a writer in her free time.
